A NEW student newspaper has rolled off the presses and into the classrooms at the City of Ely Community College.
The Daily News was launched at the college in April and has already attracted a loyal following for its witty take on school life.
The brainchild of the school’s Young Entrepreneurs group, the paper is staffed by an anonymous trio of budding reporters who cover everything from planning changes to computer game reviews.
Rupert Wilkey, who helped the pupils to set up the Daily News, said: “The paper has already reached its fourth edition and has gone down very well with both students and teachers.”
