EAST Cambridgeshire children and adults can stay active and have fun with the help of a free leaftlet, Countryside Events January - June 2007.
The leaflet is published by Cambridgeshire County Council's Countryside Access Team every year in two six monthly editions to encourage people to enjoy events being held in the countryside.
It is full of walks, wildlife activities, archaeology, arts and crafts and many more events taking place outdoors in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
This leaflet is a useful guide to what is on offer in the county and offers opportunities to get outdoors, get more fresh air and exercise, be active and explore new interests whatever the weather.
Kate Day, Countryside Access Team Leader for Cambridgeshire County Council, said: "Encouraging people to be more active and adopt healthier lifestyles can be hard, but with all the opportunities on offer within this leaflet, there is something for everyone no matter what age.
Copies of the leaflet are available from libraries, Tourist Information Centres, museums, Cambridge Park and Ride sites, country parks and other places
