A preschool has received a new digital camera and editing equipment, thanks to the Ely branch of Sainsbury’s.

The donation to Butterfly Pre-School, in Sutton, was part of Sainsbury’s Community Budget, money which the store provides to local charities, community groups and non-profit organisations.

Donna Bonnett, manager at Butterfly Pre-School said: “The donation from Ely Sainsbury’s gives us the opportunity to capture memorable photos that we can share with parents and carers.

“Children will have the opportunity to take their own photos for us to display, which will help towards pre-school learning and development.”

Qualifying organisations can apply for part of the community budget in writing to Luke Edwards at Sainsbury’s, Lisle Lane, Ely, CB7 4AS.
