SOHAM residents were given the chance to raise concerns on issues in the town when the neighbourhood panel held its first official meeting yesterday (Wednesday).
The meeting took place at Fordham Village Hall and issues on the agenda included, plans for the development of Fordham Youth Shelter.
Vanessa Mainwaring, area housing manager at Hereward Housing, said: "The Neighbourhood Panel is an excellent way for local communities to influence the priorities of the organisations such as the police, councils and Hereward Housing, by putting forward items which they feel are a concern within the area where they live.
