LITTLEPORT Village Hall caretaker and cleaner Jessie Jones has hung up her brooms and brushes and retired after 20 years' service.

Mrs Jones, who is known locally as Lou, was presented with a bouquet of flowers and other gifts from and village hall chairman Paul Cox thanked her on behalf of the committee for all her hard work and dedication and wish her and her husband Reg a happy retirement.
