A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after colliding with a tractor near Soham, on Saturday.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called shortly after 6pm to a stretch of the A142 between Soham and Barcham.

Magpas Helimedix also attended the scene after a motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, collided with a tractor which was towing a trailer.

A spokesman for Magpas said: “The Helimedix assessed a male patient in his 20s who had suffered multiple body injuries.

“The team sedated the man before accompanying him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious but stable condition.”
