Motorcyclist seriously injured following collision with car

A man suffered serious injuries following a collision in Fordham, on Friday.

Police were called to a collision involving a car and a motorbike in Mildenahll Road, at about 5.20pm.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services remained on scene.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: “The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries in the smash and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.”

The man remains in a serious but stable condition. The police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Anyone with any information should call 101.
