MEMBERS of the Soham Bowls Club and the Ross Peers Indoor Bowls Club held a variety of fund-raising events over 12 months in aid of the Arthur Rank Hospice.
These events raised £1,820 for the hospice in Cambridge.
A cheque was handed over to Pat Dalrymple, head of fund-raising at the hospice who said it was reassuring to know the facility had such strong community support.
"This donation will be put towards our Hospice At Home Appeal and will provide 10 nights of care by our specially-trained nurses, caring for patients at the end of their lives, enabling them to remain at home if that is their wish."
