The Macmillan Cancer Support Charity were on hand in the Market Square, Ely, to give advice and information about all aspects of living with cancer.
The new centre is the region's first dedicated regional touring unit, and people can use the service without an appointment.
Stephen Richards, Macmillan Cancer Support director, said: "Every year, more than 3000 Cambridgeshire residents are diagnosed with cancer and research shows that many cancer patients, as well as their friends and family, would like to have more information but often don't know where to turn for help."
