An Ely chauffeur service is using its finest motors to spread some festive cheer this Christmas.
It has teamed up with the Ely foodbank partnership to transport visitors who are picking up hampers filled with festive goodies to and from their homes during the winter months.
The foodbank is asking for donations from businesses, churches and organisations and has received an overwhelming response, according to project director, Cathy Wright.
“This is such a treat for us,” she said.
“We’re excited that this added touch will be received well from our visitors this month.
“Our desire is to make life easier for many who struggle and worry about Christmas and I’m sure a lift home in a posh car will put a smile on a few faces!”
Hamper deliveries can be made to the foodbank store at the Barton Road car park between 9.30am and 1.30pm on Tuesdays.
