SUNDAY'S service was taken by the Rev Christopher Baker, a United Reformed minister now living in Ely; it is good for the different denominations to share their views and with this in mind there is a Lent study group made up of members from all five churches in Haddenham and Wilburton. For more information, contact Betty White on Ely 740672.
Stewards on Sunday were Kenneth Riley and Ron Bloye; spring flowers were arranged by Win Moore in memory of Valerie Bloye, steward and writer, who died a year ago. Quiz winner for January was Mark Divall of Witchford and this month's quiz can be obtained by telephoning 01353 740230 or collecting a copy from the coffee morning on Saturday, from 10am when there will be home-made cakes on sale in the church foyer. An all-age party is planned for Saturday afternoon when an invitation is extended especially to people who have recently moved to the parish.
