Jelly, sand, ice and some cold baked beans proved to be the perfect recipe for fun at King’s Ely Nursery.
A messy morning at the nursery, based at King’s Ely Acremont, saw children enjoying a range of hands on fun.
Youngsters – and their parents – were able to play and explore with weird and wonderful foods and materials, including baked beans, spaghetti, slime, ice, jelly, water, sand, frozen vegetables and porridge oats.
A particular favourite with the children was doing their own large scale paintings with their hands and feet!
King’s Ely Acremont and Nursery only started to accept children from the age of one around a year ago but already the nursery has been extended to cater for an ever-growing demand from families.
