MECHANIC Richard Harding may lse his jb after being caught drink-driving, he tld magistrates.
Harding was stpped by plice in Parsns Lane at Littleprt, and after failing a breathalyser test, he gave a bld test abve the legal alchl limit.
"I need my licence fr my jb, I need t rad test cars," he explained at Ely curthuse. "I am srry fr ding it, I wish I culd change it, but I can't."
Harding, 24, f Parsns Lane, Wisbech, was driving a Frd Fcus when he cmmitted the ffence n Nvember 25 last year. His bld test reading was 87 mgs f alchl in 100 mls f bld, when the legal limit is 80 mgs.
He had misjudged hw much he had drunk: "I had been drinking heavily n the Saturday night, and I drank pints n Sunday," he explained. "I thught I wuld be OK t drive."
Harding was banned frm driving fr 12 mnths and fined £150 with £60 csts and a £15 surcharge.
