The clerk reported that the HCV Route Management Presentation planned for this meeting had been postponed to a later date due to the length of time it would involve. She had also invited neighbouring parish councils to send representatives to the meeting and once she has a clear idea of numbers will set up a convenient meeting date.

Information from district and county councillors:

Cllr Pauline Wilson had attended a budget seminar where the results of a Council Tax survey had been published. Recycling had come out as the top item that taxpayers would like to see developed further. Administration had scored as the bottom item.

Cllr Bill Hunt had been liaising with the county council on behalf of the parish council regarding problems with street light repairs.

Cllr Hunt also reported that there is continued movement towards establishing a household waste-recycling centre at Witchford, which he feels would be an asset to the area.
