A group of masked men - wielding metal bars and baseball bats - carried out an armed robbery at a Cambridge pub on Sunday and attacked several people.
The raid, at the Golden Hind pub in Milton Road, took place at 9.30pm and involved an assault on members of the public and staff.
Four or five men are reported to have entered wearing what have been described as ski masks and balaclavas, whilst holding various weapons.
They demanded money and assaulted three men - a member of staff and two members of the public - before making off with cash in a black Ford Mondeo. No one was seriously injured.
DC John Collinson said: “This was very frightening for all involved - staff and members of the public. But we are treating it as an isolated incident at this time.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or saw the Ford Mondeo in the area to get in touch.
“Anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, should not hesitate to call police.”
