Pupils at Soham Village College have been celebrating being awarded Healthy School Status, taking part in a range of activities in a special Food Week programme of events.
Vice principal Andrew Hunter compiled the school's application for the specialist status and is thrilled that their hard work has been recognised.
He said: "It is fantastic that our commitment to making pupil's lives healthier has been recognised. It has been a lot of work bringing together all the different aspects of what we do and we have been working really hard to make sure Soham Village College is a healthy school.
As part of Food Week, pupils took part in chocolate and cheese tasting sessions, teachers gave cookery demonstrations and the pupils were visited by chefs from the West Suffolk College.
