A MAN suffered serious injuries after being assaulted in Ely on Thursday.
The attack took place at around 10pm on Creswells Lane, with a man in his 30s suffering serious injuries after being attacked in the street.
Emergency services were rushed to the scene and the man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, where he was treated for his injuries.
Police arrested a 14-year-old boy and a man in his 20s in the early hours of the following morning. The man was subsequently released on bail until March 17 while the boy was released without charge.
