A male driver was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm during a hit and run in High Bars, Ely yesterday.
One of the victims, a man in his 30s, suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains.
The other victim, also in his 30s, was uninjured.
A 27-year-old man from Downham Market has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and is currently in custody at Parkside Police Station.
Police were called to the incident at 4.15pm.
