A MAN was rushed to hospital this morning (Thursday) following a collision on the A142 in Ely.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was riding a blue Benelli moped along Station Road when he was involved in a collision with a car near the junction with Queen Adelaide Way.
The incident occurred at about 6.20am, with ambulance crews called to treat the man at the roadside before he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. The extent of his injuries is unclear.
Police were also called to the scene and managed to clear the road of debris by 8.10am.
