A MAN who has denied assaulting a company director in Wilburton has been committed for trial before Cambridge Crown Court.
It is alleged that Steven Downham, 45, of Ferndale, Teversham, assaulted Graham Fish in Wilburton on March 3, causing him actual bodily harm.
Downham is due to appear at the Cambridge court for a preliminary hearing on August 7; and on Thursday Ely magistrates gave him unconditional bail until that date.
