A MAN who was discovered lying dead by the side of the railway in Littleport was named on Friday.
A MAN who was discovered lying dead by the side of the railway in Littleport was named on Friday.
The body of 53-year-old Philip Alexander Black, of Boswell Road, Inverness, was discovered by a member of the public on Tuesday lying next to the railway near Victoria Street in the village.
The line was closed for much of the morning and in to the afternoon while officers from the British Transport Police investigated the scene, and a replacement bus service was put in place.
An inquest in to the death was opened and adjourned by the coroner in Wisbech with the cause of death listed as multiple traumatic injuries.
