A man had to be airlifted to hospital following an incident at a factory in Chettisham on Monday.
The man, believed to be in his early twenties, was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, by the East Anglian Air Ambulance shortly before 2pm after suffering serious injuries at work.
The man cut himself on a piece of glass and was loosing a lot of blood.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said that the man was treated at the scene by medics before being transferred to hospital, where his condition is said to be stable.
