A MAN has admitted stealing a £239 pedal cycle in Ely and going equipped for theft in the city.

The cycle belonged to Daniel Barrett, and was stolen by 42-year-old James Leonard on June 29.

Leonard, of London Road, King's Lynn, was found with a pair of cutters and two Allen keys on the same date.

Ely magistrates ordered a report on Leonard, and adjourned sentencing until November 26.
