A MAN charged with committing a robbery in Littleport has been sent for trial at Cambridge Crown Court, alongside two other co-defendants.

Daniel Nunn, 24 of Hempfield Place, Littleport, is accused of robbing Mark Crow on August 29 last year, stealing keys and cash.

Nunn and two other men, Stuart Bartlett, 21, of Upton Place, Littleport; and Brett Heathcote, 20, of Fishers Bank, Littleport, are also accused of assaulting Mr Crow, causing him actual bodily harm.

All three appeared before Ely magistrates on Thursday, when their case was transferred to the Crown Court without pleas being taken. They were given unconditional bail until a preliminary hearing at the Cambridge court on June 3.
