A CAMBRIDGE man accused of raping two teenage girls in Littleport has had his case delayed.

Martin Abbs, 30, of Hazelwood Close, is accused of nine counts of rape and one of aggravated burglary, at a family home in the village on November 13.

He was due to enter a plea today (Monday) at Cambridge Crown Court, alongside Gary Smith, 26, of Carlton Way, Cambridge and a 16-year-old boy from Littleport who cannot be identified for legal reasons, but the plea and case management hearing has been put back to March 6.

Smith faces a charge of aggravated burglary and actual bodily harm, and the 16-year-old faces two counts of actual bodily harm and one of aggravated burglary, all as part of the same incident.

The three accused remain on remand until their court date.
