LUCKY Ely Standard reader Penny O’Neil won a £1,000 bedroom set thanks to a competition run together with The Home furniture outlet in Littleport.

Ms O’Neil correctly answered our question: Which A-road is The Home closest to? The answer of course, being the A10.

There were dozens of entries for the competition, but Penny’s luck was most definitely in as her name was pulled out of the hat.

The bedroom set was from The Home’s colonial range and included a 4ft 6in bedstead, two bedside cabinets each with two drawers, a six drawer chest and an ottoman. They are painted cream, with oak effect tops.

Store manager Jemma Bruen said: “This range has been very popular with our customers and we are sure it will be a great hit with Penny.”
