A Wicken parish councillor was honoured for 40 years of unbroken service at the council's annual meeting.

Cllr Peter Fuller has served for four decades, including two stints as chairman, and he was presented with a drawing of Wicken Fen by local artist Ruth Beloe at the annual meeting last month.

Current chairman Cllr Liz Houghton, pictured with Cllr Fuller, said: "Peter's

enthusiasm, input and knowledge always makes our meetings interesting and his many voluntary deeds have meant that our community has benefited financially and aesthetically."
