Cambridgeshire County Council is about to start work on a £350,000 project to improve the notorious B1382 in Queen Adelaide.

Contractors move in on February 17, to carry out the work between Thistle Corner roundabout and the beginning of he 30 mph/national speed limit signs on Ely Road.

Work includes improved drainage, strengthening the road foundation and resurfacing. Work is expected to take around two weeks and will be carried out overnight between 7pm and 6am.

During working hours the road will be closed, with a signed diversion. Access to property will be maintained, but some disruption and delay is inevitable.
