A MAN has denied that he assaulted Lee Statham in Ely on New Year's Eve, causing actual bodily harm.
Daniel Benatar, 22, of Talfourd Road, London, appeared before city magistrates on Thursday, when the court declined jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned for a Crown Court committal hearing on April 8 and Benatar was given unconditional bail.
