THE Little Downham Local History & Archive group welcomed 40 people to St Leonard's Parish Church for a meeting. Chairman Chris Seekings introduced the evening and sought the help of everyone in building the archive.

Speakers gave an insight into the past and present of the church before the vicar, the Rev Pauline Scott, looked forward to the continuing place of the parish church, even in a world of varied, or even no, spirituality. Bells summoned the audience to refreshments and the rest of the evening was spent in animated discussion around the displays of parish records and the work of the group.
