Over the first four weekends in July artists of different kinds will open their doors to the public.

There will be: fine art, photography, pottery, glass making, sculpture, illustration, textiles, jewellery, furniture making and more.

Wicken-based artist Terry Beard uses colour, texture and mark-making to create a sense of depth and form, using a range of media. She is exhibiting on all four weekends.

Stephen Murfitt, of Wicken, creates handbuilt and raku-fired ceramic forms and vessels. He is exhibiting on all four weekends.

The Fen Five – consisting of Barbara Harlow, Janet Hathiramani, Rosemary Scott, Pauline Smith and Sue Spence – will showcase ‘paintings of Fenland and beyond’ at Wicken Village Hall on weekend three (July 15/16).

Daughter and mother team Janene Elise Pike and Lindy Jane Rainbow will exhibit mixed media and textiles at 31 High Street, Wicken on four weekends.

Anthony Day will display paintings and drawings at 12 Pond Green, Wicken on July 1 and 2.

Claire McGinley, who makes stoneware pots and pastel landscapes, will display her work at Field House, Watson’s Lane, Little Thetford.

Soham artist Sarah Dodkin Rush, who uses recycled, discarded or natural materials, will exhibit at 1 Cyprian Rust Way, Soham, CB7 5ZE, on weekends one, two and three.

Stuart Green, who makes images based upon landscape, will show his work at The Willows Studio, 60 Ely Road, Queen Adelaide, Ely, CB7 4TZ, on weekends two, three and four.

Contemporary oil painter Amy Fitzgerald and Kevin Fitzgerald, who produces fantasy brush and ink drawings, showcase at Clayway Farm Cottage, Branch Bank, Queen Adelaide, Ely, CB7 4UE, on the first three weekends.

Lyz Gardner will show her pastel landscapes at Malahax, Ely Road, Prickwillow, Ely, CB7 4UJ, on weekends two, three and four.

John Lewis, who makes ladder-back chairs, showcases at Slodgers, 50 Main Street, Prickwillow, on weekends three and four.
