A 16-year-old boy from Littleport has been charged with aggravated burglary and two counts of actual bodily harm during an incident at a house in Littleport on Thursday evening.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested by police at around 3am on Friday morning at his home, following a forensic search in an area close to Millfield Primary School and evidence-gathering at another address in the village.
He was taken to Parkside Police Station in Cambridge where he was later charged and is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (November 19).
