Children were given a lesson on the eyes and even made their own ‘spectacular spectacles’ as Littleport library teamed up with Boots Opticians as part of its summer holiday schedule.
The youngsters were given a lowdown on the eye and optometry by staff from the Littleport branch of the opticians, before trying their hand at making their own pairs of glasses.
The library’s summer holiday schedule is set to continue on Wednesday August 24 and August 31 with a Roald Dahl craft morning.
The even, sponsored by Littleport Towns Land Charity, runs from 10am until 1pm.
