Littleport Village Hall was the venue for a gathering of many organisations concerned in the everyday life of Littleport, hosted by the parish council on Saturday.
Representatives of East Cambridgeshire District Council including the environmental health team, the police and crime commissioner Cllr Jason Ablewhite, the fire service, Sanctuary Housing, the children’s centres, Speed Watch, Town Team, as well as the new, ‘East Cambs Connect’ door to door bus service, and parish clerk councillors, were there to answer residents’ questions.
Open to the public from 9.30am until noon, there was a steady stream of interested visitors to the stalls arranged around the hall.
