An inquest has been opened into the death of Littleport man, James Harrison.
The 32-year-old, of Hardwicke Close, was found dead near the village fire station, in New Road, on September 24, sparking a police investigation.
After three days of searches and questioning, however, police declared that the death was not being treated as suspicious and the case was passed to the coroner.
Coroner for North and East Cambridgeshire, William Morris opened an inquest into the death at Huntingdon today (Thursday).
The cause of death was listed as “unascertained pending further tests”.
The inquest was adjourned and will re-open again on January 14, next year.
