Members of Littleport & District Flower Club held its monthly meeting on Friday October 19 at Littleport Village Hall.
Four members did the demonstration and the title was ‘Onward & Upwards’. Club president Louise Richards co-ordinated the evening and introduced each demonstrator as she took to the stage.
She explained that the idea of the demonstration was to depict the past 55 years of the club’s existence, but in the end each demonstrator decided to do their own interpretation of certain phases of their lives.
The evening was great fun with a lot of interaction with club members encouraging each demonstrator with their interpretations and memories of years gone by.
The evening finished with tea/coffee and cake and all the designs where raffled meaning a few happy people went home with lovely arrangements.
Our next meeting is our open evening on Friday November 17 at Littleport Village Hall when national demonstrator Julia Knights’ demonstration title will be Christmas Alphabet.
