The Soham branch of The Chernobyl Children's Lifeline charity organised a Gardeners' Question Time at the Soham Lodge Hotel on Saturday. Horticultural experts Timothy Clark and Peter Jackson were on-hand to share their expertise with the enthusiasts who attended the event, which was compared by Mandy Morton from BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
Heather Burkenshaw, chairman of the Soham branch, told the gardeners that their contribution on the day would enable the charity to bring another child from Chernobyl over for a holiday.
