Why not enjoy a fabulous day out in the amazing Ouse Washes this weekend, and take part in this fantastic community fundraising event?

If you want to walk, run, or cycle, for fun, fitness or for charity, do turn out on Sunday (20) and join us.

It is FREE to take part, and there are great prizes for cyclists who can enter a competition based on their powers of observation. You can also raise money for your favourite charity as well.

It is advisable to pre-register at www.walk-run-cycle.org.uk, to avoid disappointment but it’s also possible just to turn up on the day.

If you chose this option 10km runners and walkers please register at the WWT in Station Road Welney, PE14 9TN in the marquee from 9.30am to 10.00am, and cyclists from 10am to 10.30am.

The cyclists will be led in convoy from the WWT to the start in Welney village by a Lexus NX so it should be a spectacular sight, and arriving there at 11am.

The Ouse Washes Experience is organised by the Ely Hereward Rotary Club, and is supported by a Heritage Lottery Grant. Thanks must also go to our sponsors, OWLP, WWT, EA, RSPB, and Lexus Cambridge, without which this event would not have been made possible.
