AN assault charge facing Mepal pensioner George Sykes was adjourned for a further two weeks on Thursday, so he can apply for Legal Aid, and the Crown Prosecution Service can obtain the paperwork from the police.
Sykes, 72, of Bridge Road, has denied assaulting Andrew Lampert in Mepal on September 26 last year.
