DRIVING a car in Ness Road at Burwell without insurance or a full licence has led to learner driver Paul Lewin being fined a total of �700. Lewin, 51, of Uxbridge, Middlesex, was convicted of both offences by Ely magistrates on Thursday. He was fined �525
DRIVING a car in Ness Road at Burwell without insurance or a full licence has led to learner driver Paul Lewin being fined a total of �700.
Lewin, 51, of Uxbridge, Middlesex, was convicted of both offences by Ely magistrates on Thursday.
He was fined �525 for having no insurance, and another �175 for driving not in accordance with his provisional licence, by failing to display L-plates. Six points were endorsed on his driving record, and he has to pay a �15 surcharge and �85 costs.
