A TEENAGER had a knife held to his throat during an attempted robbery in Ely on Saturday (July 9).
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was walking along a private, unlit road, known as High Flyer Road towards the water tower at the rear of Heaton Drive at around 10.30pm when he was approached by a man.
The man pushed him against the metal link fence, held a knife to his throat and demanded money.
The victim fought back and the offender ran off empty handed towards Longchamp Drive.
He is described as white, in his late 20’s with dirty tanned skin and one or two days of stubble on his face. He was skinny and scruffy with short dark hair that was shaved close to his head and was around 6’1” tall. He was wearing a dark hooded top and baggy jeans.
DC Emma Smith, investigating said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident take place or recognises the description of the attacker.”
