More than 100 King’s Ely sixth form students helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity at their annual Christmas ball.
Help for Heroes, Ely Foodbank, Macmillan Cancer Support, Dementia UK, MIND, Tom’s Trust, Edlumino and Crohn’s and Colitis UK will get a share of the money raised from this year’s event.
£2,500 is expected to have been raised from the 2016 ball, and over the last 12 years more than £40,000 has been raised for various charities.
