Children and staff at King’s Ely raised hundreds for Children in Need on Friday.
Boys and girls of Saunders House at King’s Ely Junior (KEJ) raised more than £340 by holding a cake sale and all KEJ pupils turned up to school in spotty clothing in return for a small donation, which raised another £220.
A slumber party, where children wore pyjamas and dressing gowns for the day, and a bedtime story readathon, raised over £210 at King’s Ely Acremont and Nursery (KEAN).
On Friday evening more than 80 students including the school orchestra, concert band, jazz band, King’s Barbers, string orchestra, brass ensemble and percussion ensemble performed at the Hayward Theatre as part of King’s Ely’s annual charity concert.
