Almost 100 residents who share their age with or are older than the Queen - including 101-year-old Katie Coleman - were invited to the the school’s Old Palace on Barton Road for a spot of tea and cake, followed by musical entertainment and a tour from school principal Sue Freestone.

The tea party preceded the school’s earlier celebrations, held at it’s Acremont campus, where dozens of pupils in year one, two and three, posed in the formation of a ‘90’ for a special photo, captured by drone.
