King’s Ely Junior sisters raise thousands for Cancer Research UK

Three sisters have raised almost £6,000 for a cause close to their hearts by waving goodbye to their long locks.
Charlotte, Florence and Winnie Henderson, who are all pupils at King’s Ely Junior, had their hair cut off into bobs on July 3 to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Charlotte, 10, and twins Florence and Winnie, aged eight, have raised more than £5,700 in sponsorship, and a cake sale was held in school to help increase the total.
The sisters are also donating their hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls across the UK who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment.
