King’s Ely Junior pupils have raised more than £13,000 for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Throughout the year pupils took part in non-uniform days, cake sales and fancy dress events to raise £13,885.
The money, which was raised by KEJ pupils, parents and staff, has been match-funded by the government, totalling almost £28,000.
Over the last five years, the school has raised more than £60,000 for CLIC Sargent, WaterAid and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
UNICEF is a United Nations programme based in New York which provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries.
