King’s Ely have won their second consecutive award at the annual Education Business Awards.

After winning the ICT facility award at last year’s ceremony this at St Paul’s in London, gaining national recognition in this category in the process, the school picked up the Environmental Practice Award, which is awarded to the school that can demonstrate a benefit to the environment and the environmental education of its pupils.

The school were also commended in the Educational Visits category, a commitment to providing students with a range of subject specific educational visits in order to further their learning experience, as well as further commendation in the art category, after maintaining a first class learning environment with modern and flexible facilities for students of art and attending high profile exhibitions.

Sue Freestone, principal at King’s Ely, expressed her delight at receiving another award. She said: “It’s always such a pleasure to have the work of our team recognised in this way.”
