Fashion students from King’s Ely Senior will be exhibiting their finest creations at one of the biggest textiles shows in the country next month.
A collection of work by the most gifted and talented A-Level students will be on display at Alexandra Palace at the Knitting and Stitching Show 2016 – a national event for anyone with a love of textile design, which takes place on 5-9 October.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the innovative work our students are producing and to gain valuable feedback from the media, the public, artists and designers, students and governors from other independent schools,” said Alison Rhodes, director of art at King’s Ely Senior.
King’s Ely fashion students have experienced great levels of success over the years, with many students going on to study at universities and colleges such as Chelsea, Ravensbourne, Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Needlework Hampton Court Palace, Edinburgh and Falmouth.
