Thomson, 36, of Clay Street, was also ordered to pay £70 costs when he was sentenced by Ely magistrates on Thursday.

At an earlier hearing, Thomson had admitted assaulting a person, who cannot be named due to a court order. He had "lost it" and kicked his victim in the stomach.
