THE coffee morning at St John's Church on April 11 attracted a cheery crowd who gathered in the newly-decorated church hall. The bring-and-buy table was laden with plenty of items through which to browse, plus greetings cards, freshly baked goodies and the ever welcome cup of tea or coffee.
Several people were attending the regular event for the first time, but enjoyed themselves sufficiently that they promised a return visit.
The next Coffee Morning will be held on May 9, between 10am and noon when, as always, everyone will be made most welcome.
